About

Based soley in Calgary Alberta, NatureScapes.V is an independent, original brand created right from my own backyard.

Every piece begins with my own photography and is thoughtfully designed in-house — no stock images, no mass-produced artwork. Each design is a reflection of how I see nature, translated into products meant to bring calm, beauty, and meaning into everyday spaces

I am the photographer behind the images, the designer behind the products, and the brand maker behind this shop.

Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, where— I as a little girl —the outdoors gave me a sense of stability, a grounding within myself and a regulating comfort: a simple, steady sense of being.

My family eventually left that early paradise, and I grew up moving across many provinces before finally calling Alberta home.

My journey with photography began quietly: a small pink point-and-shoot camera in Saskatchewan, followed by a Fujifilm my mom gifted me for my birthday. Later came a Canon—the first expensive item I ever bought for myself after entering the workforce at the early age of seventeen...

For years, that camera sat unused. I seemed to prefer the simplicity of the Fujifilm, where I learned that simple, ample images were key to growth—teaching me what I enjoyed capturing through the eyes of a still-younger girl.

It wasn’t until much later that something shifted. I sold the Canon, invested in lenses for a Nikon passed down from my mom, and began photographing with intention—with vision, with intensity, and with a quiet determination to grow this into something my heart longed to take seriously.

What started as curiosity became a way of grounding, observing, and making meaning.

This shop is an extension of that practice—rooted in patience, care, and the quiet beauty of noticing: of taking in, observing, and remaining present.

I must credit my mom’s quiet influence in the background of my journey—her encouragement to always pursue what I enjoyed and cared for.

Oh how indifferent are the eyes that watch
but do not observe, and do not take in....

This world was never meant for the tourist,
but for the quiet and the still-paced,
for the slow,
and the observist.
One who would enjoy, and not take for granted
her beauty which passes like
the dew on a spring's blossomed petal
